This cupcake. Oh, this cupcake.

SO I don't say a lot of swear words. That's just who I am.

But HOLY SHIT. I just had the best cupcake I've ever had in my entire life. Some kind of vegan confection at Roots Cafe, the place I give all of my money to. It tasted like my uncle's chocolate chip cake with hazelnut or something frosting on top. I can't stop thinking about it. Oh man. Oh man. Oh man.

Best day of my life, and all because I feel guilty taking up a table with my compy if all I buy is a coffee.

Mash Soda

I woke up this morning with a mighty thirst*. A MIGHTY THIRST to be quenched. I wanted not water, not coffee, not tea. I wanted soda. I don't usually keep soda on hand, though. So I packed up and headed over to my neighborhood coffee shop and got one of these guys: a Lemon Peel Ginger Root Mash Soda. HOLY ESS - the website bills it as an "EXTREME WATER DRINK"!!!

ANYWAY. It's really good. Everyone should drink these.

*This may be related to the bottle of chardonnay I split with my roommate last night.

Bathrobe = BEST PURCHASE EVER

I took a trip to the Pits of Hell Brooklyn Target yesterday and made a number of purchases, one of which was a coral jersey bathrobe as a late birthday present for myself. I used to have a long terrycloth bathrobe, but I didn't get much use out of it (it was too warm and heavy to really wear around).

Anyway, one day into my new bathrobe purchase, I am convinced that this is one of the top ten things I've ever spent money on. Reason Number One. I reside in the front bedroom of my house, with three big windows facing the street. I usually hop out of the shower, and get dressed in a hurry because I don't want the neighbors to see me naked. Today, however, I lounged about in my new bathrobe for a full 15 minutes, watching youtube videos of Doris Day, before deciding to pull on my favorite t-shirt and jeans.

You probably know which t-shirt I'm talking about.

But anyway, I foresee many potential uses for my new bathrobe. Who would have thought a loungewear garment could be such a wonderful timewaster?

Gossip

I don't have any. Wish I did - I'd like to have some more exciting things going on right now.

But sadly, just the same-old, same-old.
